Design & Direction for Virtual Reality

I was commissioned to direct the pre-rendered intro animation for 'Depths of Perception', the second Virtual Reality experience by art collective Virtual Awakening. The experience raises the viewer's awareness of the 'unity and mutual interrelation of all things and the universe as manifestation of a basic oneness'. The animation was played at the very start of the VR experience bringing the viewer through a new layer of perception with every shot, ending on a visual metaphor of ‘oneness’. I was responsible for the concept, direction and design on these styleframes which led a team of animators
